They are GIRLS!

we had another ultrasound and doctors appointment this morning. They did all the measuring of the babies and they are both 6 ounces. That was music to my ears to hear they are measuring the same size. That is what you want in a twin pregnancy. They told us about six weeks ago that the babies were monochorionic/diamniotic twins. Which in english means in two amniotic sacs, one outer sac and one placenta and therefore were believed to be identical. So today we found out baby A is face up and baby B is laying face down on top of baby A. Baby A's heart beat was about 150 and baby B's was 143. They had two techs look at the ultrasound and both said girls. We are excited and I am glad Michael will have some girls.

I feel like we are starting over from the beginning with this pregnancy. everything is different because there are two of them and they are girls!

We go back in three weeks for our 0 week ultrasound and another doctors appointment. we are loving all the ultrasounds and the chances to watch the girls grow during the pregnancy.
